Community Explorers - Manchester Marmot Community Engagement

This Community Explorers open event, held in partnership with Manchester City Council, aims to discuss VCSE experiences of health inequalities in Manchester, how we work with communities to address these issues and what more needs to happen in the future.


The Population Health Team at Manchester City Council has started work on the following project - Marmot Work on Social Determinants of Health & Tackling Inequalities in Manchester. One part of this work is community engagement and hearing from people who have lived experiences of the social determinants of health and health inequalities and organisations who support those.

Macc is hosting a special Community Explorers open event to discuss the experience of voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations working with communities to address health inequalities and  how these can be addressed. 

An agenda will be available shortly but you can book your place now to ensure your voice, and the voices of those you work with, are represented in this important project.
