The Three Manchester Clinical Commissioning Groups have made available £550,000, with £50,000 set aside for independent evaluation of successful applicants.
Applicants can ask for Small grants of £500 to £10,000, or Main grants of £10,000 to £50,000. A requirement of being awarded funding will include working with the independent evaluators. The successful applicants of the smaller grants will be required to provide information to the evaluators for case studies of their projects. Following funding being awarded to those receiving larger grants, requirement of the funding will include working alongside evaluators from the beginning of the project to help them to devise, prepare and produce monitoring information.
This funding programme is keen to help develop partnerships so ideas can be shared to learn about what does and doesn’t work and to encourage new approaches to improve the lives of people and experiencing social isolation and loneliness in Manchester.
