Macc is the voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) sector support organisation for the city of Manchester. Our purpose is to encourage, support and develop VCSE organisations and individuals to have a real influence over the places and communities in which they live.
We are a team focused on practical projects based on cross-sector partnerships, such as:
- Supporting the Manchester Homelessness Partnership
- Supporting the Manchester community alliance in partnership with the Greater Manchester Violence Reduction Unit
- Leading on developing partnerships with businesses alongside the Volunteer Centre’s work on employee volunteering
- Supporting organisations to build collaboration for mutual benefit, being more resilient and increasing their shared impact
