What do applicants need to demonstrate?

The application will be asking applicants to demonstrate:

  • They enhance capacity and capability of older people to help them participate in community and local social networks
  • That your organisation takes into account the views of your service users (older people) in decision making processes and how these process have (or will be) used for positive change
  • Will work with evaluators to collect and monitor evidence of services provided to increase community cohesion and meets current social needs of older people
  • Willing to work with the private and public sectors to develop stronger partnership link and to share ideas
  • That your organisation contributes positively to Manchester services by fair employment rights, providing appropriate and supported volunteering placements, intergenerational work, working with other CVS organisations and helping to improve Manchester’s cultural capital
  • How your organisation can illustrate your project’s sustainable impact beyond the funding received from this funding programme
  • Clearly how your project adopts best practice with regards to your safeguarding vulnerable adults’ policies and procedures
  • New models so approaches to reducing social isolation through helping older people to help themselves
