Join Groundwork for an exciting 2-day event to walk approximately 10 miles along the River Medlock, taking in the sights, sounds and life of the Medlock Valley.
The meeting point is at the entrance of Lees Brook Nature Reserve opposite The Bulls Head pub, OL4 2HB. Meet at 9am and start walking at 9.30am. What3Words: cried.flops.dice
The walk will go along the River, passing through Lees Brook Nature Reserve, Bardsley Canal and Daisy Nook Country park. There will be stops along the way for refreshments. The walk is expected to finish in Daisy Nook at 1.30pm, and will have refreshments and fun activities on offer until 3pm.
The total distance for this day is roughly 8km / 5 miles. The walk will be at a gentle pace with stops along the way.
