NCVO: Advanced project management

Are you confident in your general project management skills but looking to strengthen your expertise? This course moves beyond the basics of project management to better understand techniques, activities and principles within a charity context.

The course builds on the material covered in our two-day project management in the voluntary sector course.

It's recommended you attend the two-day course before booking onto this one.

By the end of the training, you'll: 

• understand key regulatory issues in a charity context and their impact on effective project management
• be able to use the MoSCoW method to identify project requirements
• know how to manage project timelines and change
• consider due diligence of suppliers and partners
• identify and use good governance practices
• discuss leading a project team
• know how to integrate learning into project delivery, evaluation and future projects.
