Manchester Mind: Mental Health Awareness

Date & Time of Training:
13 June, 2024 - 09:30 to 12:30
Venue:
Manchester City Centre. Exact venue TBC.

Manchester Mind would like to invite you to attend our Mental Health Awareness Training.

This course is running live, in Manchester City Centre, on Thursday 13 June.

The session will be 3 hours long and must be attended in full. Unfortunately, we (Manchester Mind) cannot record sessions.

The training is delivered in a supportive environment by our trainers who bring their own lived experience and knowledge to facilitate open discussion and provide expert guidance.

We (Manchester Mind) understand that talking about mental health isn’t always easy, particularly when times are as challenging as they are right now. As we don’t have any prior knowledge of you or your past experiences, we want to make sure you are keeping safe. So if you have any concerns before, during, or after the session, please let us know by emailing [email protected], or you can call our switchboard on 0161 769 5732.

If something doesn’t feel right, you can leave at any time, but please follow the ground rules set at the beginning of the session (we usually ask that you make the trainer aware if you need to leave the session).

Course Overview:

This course is the ideal introduction for anybody looking to gain increased awareness and knowledge surrounding mental health. It will explore a range of common mental health problems and their symptoms. • To increase knowledge and confidence when supporting people with mental health issues

Course content:
