• be able to confidently choose appropriate data collection methods and tools
• know how to design and use data collection tools, including questionnaires and interview topic guides
• know how to ask the right questions
• understand good practice in applying data collection processes.

On this course we (NCVO) refer to data collection for outcomes, but the learning applies to all types of evaluation.
