Door Knocking and Canvassing Volunteers - Moss Side

Cases of a new Covid-19 mutation (E484K) have been identified in Manchester.

A huge community engagement exercise is now underway to encourage residents in affected areas to get tested (symptoms or no), and we are looking for people to support this.

In teams, volunteers will be visiting residential addresses and knocking on doors in Moss Side to canvass and dispense information about local Test and Trace sites that have been set up specifically in response to this situation.

This will be a sustained activity over a number of days, with the following dates and times:

Other things you need to know 

- You must be over the age of 18 to support this activity

- Volunteers are asked to share their availability, and commit to shifts ahead of time

- All necessary health and safety precautions and resources are in place for everybody supporting this activity (risk assessment, PPE etc.)

- Relevant training and briefing is provided to all volunteers before, during and after their shift

- Reasonable expenses for travel and subsistence (food, drink etc.) are provided to all volunteers - please retain any receipts or proof of purchase
