Manchester Pride Festival: Fundraiser

Manchester Pride campaigns for the advancement of LGBTQ+ equality; celebrates LGBTQ+ life and creates opportunities that engage LGBTQ+ people so that they can thrive.

Manchester Pride Festival 2021 takes place from 27th - 30th August. It's difficult to express how much we adore our volunteers, and with their invaluable help, we're able to do the things we do. From collecting donations at the Festival, to marshalling the Parade, to volunteering at our glamorous Spring Benefit - volunteering with us is exciting and so rewarding! It’s a great way to make new friends and feel part of a community, and we have plenty of amazing perks to offer you in return for your time.

This is a great opportunity for confident communicators and those who want more experience of fundraising and community work. 

You'll be in the heart of the action at The Gay Village and Mayfield Depot engaging people and helping to raise awareness of Manchester Pride's work. You will inspire people to help us create a world where LGBTQ+ people are free to live and love without prejudice. Awareness and passion for Manchester Pride’s work are desirable and you’ll need to be confident in your ability to speak with members of the public. 

We ask you to do two shifts over the four days of the festival. Each shift is four hours long.
