Manchester Pride campaigns for the advancement of LGBTQ+ equality; celebrates LGBTQ+ life and creates opportunities that engage LGBTQ+ people so that they can thrive.

Manchester Pride Festival 2021 takes place from 27th - 30th August. It's difficult to express how much we adore our volunteers, and with their invaluable help, we're able to do the things we do. From collecting donations at the Festival, to marshalling the Parade, to volunteering at our glamorous Spring Benefit - volunteering with us is exciting and so rewarding! It’s a great way to make new friends and feel part of a community, and we have plenty of amazing perks to offer you in return for your time.

Across the Manchester Pride Festival, we attract up to 250,000 people to the city centre and our Green Team of volunteers will be instrumental in helping us leave the city the way we found it! Green volunteers will assist with litter and waste coordination and improve overall sustainability for the event. 

We ask you to do two shifts over the four days of the festival. Each shift is four hours long. Previous festival experience would be good but not essential. 

To volunteer, you must be 16+.
