Description of opportunity:

RHS Flower Shows are currently looking for enthusiastic, friendly people to support us, and volunteer at our 2022 shows, including Tatton Park.

Volunteering at our shows is a wonderful opportunity to meet people who are passionate about plants and gardening and want to learn something new. Our volunteers are the face of the RHS for our visitors.

Knowledgeable and enthusiastic volunteers help us to ensure our visitors have a great day out.

Whether you're interested in using your gardening knowledge to help our visitors find the plants they need, or don't have much gardening experience and would like a new challenge, we have a range of roles available. Our roles are short term and we only ask for 2 days of volunteering per season so it's the perfect time to get involved!

This year, we are looking for volunteers to help support us at:

RHS Malvern Spring Festival: 5–8 May 2022 (Worcestershire, WR13 6NW)

RHS Chelsea Flower Show: 24–28 May 2022 (London SW3 4SR)

RHS Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival: 4–9 July 2022 (Surrey KT8 9AU)

RHS Flower Show Tatton Park: 20–24 July 2022 (Cheshire WA16 6QN)

We have roles available during each show week, including supporting us in our retail shops on site, helping visitors find their way around the Floral Marquees, recruiting new members and talking about our RHS campaigns. Not all roles are available at all shows so please refer to the Role Descriptions Booklet available for download from our website, prior to applying.

Please note, we do receive an extremely high number of applications for our shows and do not have space for everyone. Therefore, please ensure you provide as much detail as possible about your experience that is relevant for the role you are applying for. Please read the description for the role you are applying for in the Role Descriptions Booklet.

[In the event that COVID restrictions apply at the time of our recruitment events, other arrangements will be made]

We are committed to being an inclusive recruiter and welcome applicants from all backgrounds. We would particularly welcome applicants who are aged 18-25 years as we are under represented in this age group. We are also committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and adults at risk and expect all volunteers to share this commitment.

Registering your interest below will send you a link to our application form. Please note you will be asked to create a log-in at our online Volunteer Portal first.

Applications close Sunday 6 February.

There are currently no volunteer opportunities.
