Holiday Club Support

SportsCool Cheshire are an award winning sports and activities holiday club provision. We are approved provifers for the Holiday and Food government initialtive within Manchester, Stockport & Cheshire East.

We provide over 30 sports and activities, including Mini Me Yoga, fencing, glow in the dark dodgeball, dance and performings arts.

Our volunteers will offer support to the Wythenshawe community on the government initiative 'Holiday Activities and Food' programme, providing activities and nutritious lunch to children who may not otherwise be able to attain these.

Your input makes a huge difference, improving the quality of provision, acitvities and food we can provide during their time at our clubs, which families appreciate during the Summer holidays. 

Mandatory training is provided to all SportsCool Cheshire Volunteers, with other opportunities to attend and participate in training throughout the year. Get more involved in your local community by being part of our fantastic clubs, learn new skills, have fun and meet new people.

What are we looking for?

• Ability to communicate clearly with adults and children by being sociable and approachable; demonstrating patience, effective listening and politeness.
• Ability to be respectful of differences and choices; being able to respect confidentiality, honest and punctual.
• Ability to work independently but with guidance and support
• Able to travel to Wythenshawe M22, M23 and be available from 9am-1pm Monday - Friday
• An interest in working with children and/or sport.
• You must be over 18 for this role and happy to undertake a enhanced DBS check.
