Description of opportunity:

Smart Works uses the power of high-quality clothing and one-to-one coaching to give women the confidence to secure employment. Smart Works are a UK charity that exists to give women the confidence they need to reach their full potential, secure employment and change the trajectory of their lives.

Our Wardrobe Volunteers sort donations, select appropriate pieces for our sustainable wardrobe, hang clothes, steam and iron. They have a meticulous attention to detail and passion for organisation, ensuring our wardrobes are beautifully organised and an inspiring space for our clients.

72% of our clients go on to become employed within a month of visiting us. By joining us as an Outreach Volunteer, you can play a transformational role in the lives of local women.

Our Smart Works community aims to reflect the diversity of the area which we serve. We warmly welcome applications from people who are disabled, LGBTQIA+ and/or from a minority ethnic group.
