We don’t think anyone in our community should have to face going hungry. That’s why we provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to us in crisis. We are part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK.

About The Role

We need 1000 tins of fruit a month - you can help us get them! We are looking for collection drivers - who will collect donations from across central manchester and bring them back to our warehouse. This can be carried out during the day, on week days and can be planned by the volunteers themselves. We also have occassional weekend collects from the Mancheseter City football ground.

You will need to have a UK driving licenses and access to a roadworthy, insured vehicle. You wll need to be able to physically lift and carry donatons to and from your vehicle

Milage expenses will be paid
