About us:
Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a neurological condition - that means it affects your nerves. You get it when your immune system isn’t working properly.

Once diagnosed, MS stays with you for life, but treatments and specialists can help you to manage the condition and its symptoms. We're here to help you live well with your MS and fund research to stop MS for good.

MS Walk Manchester 2024:
MS Walk Manchester is back again and will start and finish in the beating heart of Manchester city centre. With 1, 5 or 10km routes to choose from, there is something for everyone. Not only does the walk see the famous sights and quintessential Mancunian landmarks found throughout the city, it also explores the hidden alleys and quiet waterside walkways less travelled.

Join our team of MS Superstar volunteers and support everyone who is walking, rolling and strolling to stop MS. You will be part of an incredible team of volunteers who will be helping to make MS Walk 2024 bigger and better than ever.

There are various roles available on the day from making some noise and encouraging our walkers, looking after the course and handing out water, snacks and medals.

This role is only required on Saturday 11 May 2024 for one day and there are various times throughout the day. Shifts will be from 2 - 6 hours depending on role and location.

Be part of our team of MS Walk volunteers and support everyone who is walking, rolling and strolling to stop MS. There are no specific skills required just enthusiasm and a can-do attitude.
