Dry-bag packer

Feed My City (Foundation) is an Emergency Food Charity which provides dry food bags and hot meals to those in most need. We believe that every human being has the right to basic food and this should NOT be dependent on them having money.

We aim to provide simple, free, vegetarian, nourishing hot food and/or emergency food bags in the Manchester area. The food poverty programme serves our users and we will not ask any questions, make any judgement, or charge for any of our services.

Our dry bag packers make up our dry food parcels once a week. As a group, you make up the bags ensuring one of each item is in the bags and they are ready for delivery.

This is a particularly good opportunity for those who want to get to know other people. It's a very relaxed, friendly atmosphere, and people like to talk while they're packing the bags.

Time: Every Wednesday from 1-3 pm, at our Feed My City base.

We're also looking to recruit people to do every Sunday, from 1-3 pm.
