Who we are:

At Feed My City we provide simple, vegetarian, nourishing hot food and emergency food parcels to those most in need in Manchester, Salford, Trafford and some other areas of Greater Manchester. We do this without any questions or judgment and our services are free of charge.

We operate 7 days a week, between the hours of 8am and 9pm.

Our services are available to individuals, NHS Care Navigators, Agencies supporting the homeless, Asylum Seekers, Housing Associations, those supporting offenders, Citizens’ Advice Bureaux, churches, food banks and many, many more.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for someone with a passion for helping feed people in need in their local community. It takes all types of jobs to keep Feed My City running. Helping clean the food service area so it is hygienic and ready to use is essential for Feed My City to be able to provide the help we do. 

What would you be doing as a volunteer?

You would come in at a regular time/day of the week that suits you and do some cleaning: wiping down the sides, mopping the floor, and generally making the place look tidy and presentable.

Timings: 2 hours once per week.
