Play Day Volunteers

Who we are:

We bring children and their communities together underneath the trees in Alexandra Park with a drum circle, workshops, sustainable crafting, singing, dancing and celebrating. 

Whether it is running a workshop, overseeing an activity or helping set up, your assistance allows us to engage more people and create more intergenerational experiences for the community. We create a welcoming, creative, expressive space for everyone to be seen, heard and to shine.

What are we looking for?

Forever a Child are looking for creative faciliattors, creative support workers and play workers at our all inclusive, high-vibed, sustainable Play Day on the 1st Sunday of every month. 

No formal training or experience necessary. This is a great opportunity to meet new people, experience some high vibes and learn new skills.

What would you be doing as a volunteer?

• Work with the arts – painting; crafts; music; dance; performance; story telling.
• Bring your own skills, ideas and initiatives - this is an organic co-creative organisation looking for collaborations and inspiration.
• Work with children and the community - meet friendly people and make community connections
• Play music - there are many instruments to play and oppertunities to make music together as a community
• Learn new skills - We work with local artists and musicians and there is alway oppertunities to try something new
