Venture Arts Volunteer Studio Assistant

About Venture Arts:

Venture Arts is an award-winning visual arts organisation working with learning-disabled artists. Through our studio programmes, exhibitions and collaborative projects, we remove barriers to the arts, put artists in the lead, champion neurodiversity and provide pathways for every individual to develop their creative identity. Venture Arts equip people to succeed as artists, advocates, cultural workers, educators, curators and critics.

Volunteer Role Opportunity:

Within our fully equipped studio space in Hulme, learning disabled artists develop their visual artwork. Our team of professional art facilitators nurture individual talents and creativity, supporting all our artists to discover and develop their unique artistic identity. We work with both adults and young people and we are looking for volunteer studio assistants to help support within these workshops. To support our artists and help them to thrive and develop their practices.

We support the following artforms: ceramics, printmaking, textiles, mixed media, painting, photography and moving image, animation and illustration.

You must 18 or over for this role and be willing to undertake a DBS check.
