Description of opportunity:

 

What can you expect to be doing?

  • Helping deliver a wide range of sports offerings including football, basketball, badminton, rugby, trampolining, cricket and much more
  • Motivating young people to participate in individual and team sports
  • Building positive relationships with young people across the youth zone 
  • Working collaboratively with the Sports Coordinator and other members of staff to support the delivery of sessions (and if you're confident enough, to lead!)
  • Supporting young people with additional needs
  • Acting as a positive role model for young people
  • Promoting an inclusive culture where all young people are listened to, valued and cared for

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has an interest or experience in sports would be great but if not, a willingness to learn and passion to get involved
  • Enjoys meeting and engaging with people from a wide range of backgrounds
  • Is organised and efficient
  • Shares the same values of HideOut
  • Is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of young people.
