Opportunity title Summary
Admin Volunteer If you are looking for a volunteering role that is office based and enjoy communicating with other people, this is the role for you. We are looking for volunteers to provide office support for our friendly Care team in our office located in Bury. Volunteers could be helping out with office duties such as photocopying or filing or could be helping with data entry. We are looking for volunteers to help out for a morning or afternoon. No previous experience is needed as full training will be given.
Volunteer Befriender If you can spare a couple of hours on a weekly or fortnightly basis, why not join our fantastic team and be a Volunteer Befriender. A Volunteer Befriender role may include: visiting carers in their own homes, a weekly telephone call to a carer, a social visit to a cafe and a cup of tea and accompanying a carer to a social activity or supporting them with a shared hobby.
Volunteer Befriender Can you spare a couple of hours to change someone’s life for the better? If so, come and join our exciting team of Volunteer Befriends. Our volunteer befriends listen and provide friendship to someone who is lonely, offer regular contact either by telephone or in person and accompany someone to a social activity or support with a hobby.
Befriender “Befriender volunteers will offer a friendly face and a listening ear. You will volunteer alongside the CarerLinks team to ensure carers can access the support they need to cope well with their caring role.
