Description: The Big Local is an exciting opportunity for residents in 150 areas around England to use at least £1m to make a lasting and positive difference to their communities. It is about bringing together all the local talent, ambitions, skills and energy from individuals, groups and organisations who want to make their area an even better place to live.
The main areas of focus in this area is are Connecting Collyhurst, Opportunities for young people, Happier families and Having a voice in our future. The Partnership is made up of residents and other local organisations who are interested in ensuring that the money is spent in line with the plan and the wishes of Collyhurst residents. There are also three subgroups for Youth, People and Places who look at specific projects and activities.

Services delivered: We support existing services in Collyhurst to build capacity and fundraise. We support the Church of the Saviours Connections Service, The Lalley Centre friendship group, the Childrens Centre mobile creche and YPAC's transitions service.
