Wythenshawe Good Neighbours (WGN) is an established community initiative. We aim to inspire, inform, invest in and include older residents so that they can benefit from services, facilities and opportunities that Wythenshawe offers. Our core objective is to promote wellbeing and reduce social isolation for older people.
We do this through activities, including, our social eating programme; regular newsletter; practical resilience resource - My Resilience Matters; information/skill-sharing and sign-posting to local services, amenities, activities and events.
