Cede Foundation is a catalyst for overcoming poverty by empowering people and developing sustainable communities to make positive changes for people at the margins of society.
The organisation's main purpose is to overcome poverty by empowering people and developing sustainable communities, to make positive changes for people who face severe and multiple disadvantages, and by providing solutions that are personalised to the needs and circumstances of people who experience multiple deprivations.
To achieve the greatest impact, the organisation works on six interlinking fronts which include;
social inclusion
education, training, and employability skills
health and wellbeing
recycling and regeneration
arts, culture and heritage
active citizenship
The objects of the organisation for the public benefits include: (1) the advancement of education and training. (2) the prevention and relief of poverty, sickness, and distress, including through humanitarian intervention. (3) the promotion of good health. (4) the promotion of human right and equality and diversity, in particular where to do so contributes to the prevention and relief of poverty. (5) a resource for young people by providing advice and assistance and organising programmes of educational and other activities as a means of advancing in life and helping young people by developing their skills, capacities and capabilities to enable them to participate in society as independent, mature and responsible individuals. (6) the advancement of environmental protection, improvement, and sustainability, in particular where to do so contributes to the prevention and relief of poverty.
