Description: Sapphire Women Foundation helps to develop the capacity and skills of women, supporting them to develop as active citizens and to participate more fully in society. We provide recreational and leisure time activity in the interests of social welfare for women, who have need by reason of their psychological and emotional condition, youth, age, vulnerability, infirmity or disability, poverty or social and economic circumstances with a view to improving the conditions of life of such women. We also provide education and training of women to fulfil their roles in society.
Services delivered: We provide counselling to women who experience psychological and emotional conditions due to relationship and family breakdown are better able to manage the stress caused by such breakdown.
Through our activities, we increase women’s confidence as well as raise a sense of self-esteem.
Women that use our service develop lifelong / employability skills and are better able to access employment.
Our activities reduce social isolation of women as well as reduce situational factors which make women less effective at looking after their health.
We help women achieve and maintain a sense of wellbeing supported by resilient communities.
