Description: Wythenshawe Community Radio is a registered charity and a voluntary organisation at time of wirting. There are no paid employees. It has been broadcasting in SOuth Manchester for more than 12 years on an OfCOM licence. There is a voluntar Board of Management based at the Forum. It relies on funding from advertising, grants and fund-raising events like bag packing. There are currently 40+ volunteers who have a one or two-hour live show. The station broadcasts 24/7, a mixture of livve shows and an automatic playout programme or music, promos and adverts. They enagae the Sky News to offer hourly bulletins are are sponsored by the Forum Trust and Wythenshawe Housing Trust.
