Fighting Spirit
Fighting Spirit helps people achieve and maintain their well-being through physical exercise based around boxing fitness training. We also organise events and activities to bring together people suffering from or recovering from low mood, isolation and depression and enable mutual self help.
Boxing fitness training is currently provided at our gym in Droylsden and is designed to be fun; we are not a boxing gym! We also run workshops and events for organisations and corporations who wish to ensure the well-being of their staff. Our aim is to expand our services to provide a cafe for our members and to run events and activities to provide opportunities for voluntary work. As people who have suffered from depression ourselves, we want to help others.
