Description:
SignHealth works to improve the health and wellbeing of people who are Deaf. We provide some services directly in British Sign Language (BSL), we work in partnership with the NHS and we also campaign for change.
Services delivered:
Residential Care Services for Deaf adults with complex mental health needs. In Greater Manchester we have two homes - Claridge Road in Chorlton and Bowfell Road in Urmston
Community Outreach services in Greater Manchester, Leeds, London and Birmingham
Psychological Therapies - nationally available and IAPT compliant
Advocacy - In Greater Manchester we provide IMHA, IMCA and generic advocacy
Domestic Abuse services for Deaf adults and children - currently in London and the South East with plans for national expansion
