Shared Health Foundation's aim is to reduce the impact of poverty on health. We believe good health should be shared with all - It should not be damaged by social or economic disadvantage. We are clinically-led and evidence-based. We work with our communities in Greater Manchester to provide practical support and bridge the gaps between their needs and policy (both local and national).
Health Inequalities Teaching to all those involved in health and/or social care professionals - from students to experienced medical professionals in all settings (education, primary, secondary care)
Mental Health and Resilience in Young People: Training and resources - for anyone working with young people.
Health Literacy support for parents/carers with children under 5.
Supporting families experiencing homelessness: working with housing support officers to better meet the needs of complex families by providing frontline services and providing practical support and mental health support to parents and children in emergency accommodation.
