Description: Long term aim of the business
Over the history of Manchester music venues, we have witnessed many come and go. This often results in a negative impact on our grassroots music scene and particularly the development of local talent and artists.
Our long-term aim, therefore, is to create a multipurpose arts hub with an inhouse venue that is run fairly by a board of passionately dedicated members with the aim of creating a long term, self-sustainable and innovative model focussed entirely to help our patrons develop, excel, grow and to create their own projects. Manifestly, this all ensuring the long-term accessibility and affordability for all to be able to enjoy the arts and learn new skills in a purposeful environment which ensures talent will flourish.
The Arts take a very wide and very varied form from music to written to visual through to digital and beyond. The key to the long-term success is the centre’s ability to adapt, grow and innovate while also maintaining the core values and services of the business. It’s our aim to make the arts accessible to all groups while actively encouraging youth groups to utilise our services for free, one day a week. This will, in the long term create business from the youths who take advantage of this, having a positive social impact in their own lives through personal development, learning new skills and offering vital distractions to the pitfalls of being an inner-city teenager.
