Description: We support Ukrainian refugees and their sponsors integrate fully into their communities.
Services delivered: We provide a support service helping those seeking help from within Europe and Ukraine and those in the Manchester area wanting to provide a home and help.

We provide information and assistance for both families whilst the visa application is processed.

We can assist in accommodation and travel and also signpost towards free travel options and advice on getting to Manchester.

We offer a total support service for both families; for host families to prepare for the arrival of their guests and post arrival support for both families.

We work in partnership with local authorities, charities, local community groups and businesses.

This support includes:

Pre Arrival:

Safeguarding advice

PACE (therapeutic parenting) advice on helping children suffering from trauma

EMDR

Trauma advice

Links and advice on opening a UK bank account

Provision and links providing required equipment, clothing and bicycles

Free 6 month SIM card

Post Arrival:

Link and advice to convert 6 month visa to 3 year visa

Links and advice on accessing financial support from your local authority and Universal Credit

Links to local and national employers providing employment opportunities

Job preparation service: cv writing, interview preparation and new wardrobe - in conjunction with a local charity.

Advice and guidance on school places

Advice and guidance on registering with doctors and dentists

Free shop which will provide only new and preloved clothing, toiletries, toys and books - for more information contact your local hub

Free english lessons with a level 5 TEFL teacher - for more information contact your local hub

Link families together and facilitate contact with the Ukrainian Social Centres.
