Description: Free school programme, summer camps and ambassador opportunities for young people aged 12-18, based on environment and social action.
Services delivered: Action for Conservation works with secondary schools to inspire and empower students to become the next generation of conservationists. We are passionate about bringing nature into the lives of all young people, regardless of circumstance. Our WildED programme, led by young conservation professionals working in the field, currently runs countrywide in schools in which an average of 49% of pupils are in receipt of pupil premium.

We also run five-day camps during the holidays and a year-long ambassador programme to support long term conservation actions. We have been working in Manchester for almost a year and now have a permanent presence in the North after taking on a staff member who is based in Manchester.

CLOSED - Social and Environmental Justice Volunteer Action for Conservation are looking for volunteers aged 18-25 to help them with their programmes, and to inspire young people to get involved in conservation.
