Description: MaxTrax is a CIC founded by Kerrie Rimmer In memory of her little boy Max who passed away aged 4. Max loved all things with wheels and decided to put funds raised from Max's funeral back into the community.

MaxTrax started to raise funds during lockdown to build a fun learn to cycle and an all wheels pump track within Delamere Park Openshaw. Supported by MCC, Councillors, Step Up, members of the public along with other organisation's such as Sport England and British Cycling.

Plans are now in place and fund of 200k are being raised to build the track by the end of 2023.

A disused council building as been award to MaxTrax through an asset transfer to enhance the track to allow a bike repair and workshop along with a community hub for community use.

The building is in need of a full restoration and a separate fund raise will commence once legal documents are signed.

In total we are hoping to raised 350k for the track, building and landscaping. To date we have raised 140k.

Holiday activities are live with the help and support from Access Sports, Friends of Delamere Park and Manchester Settlement.
