Description: Solidarity & Support Organisation provides essential support services that help build resilience, promote community integration, and encourage self-sufficiency among refugees, asylum seekers, and individuals facing hardship. We offer a broad range of services, including mental health programs, social integration activities, and general assistance such as help with Universal Credit applications, housing guidance, interpreting services, ESOL class, and access to necessities like clothing.
Our flagship program, Refreshing Day Training, is designed to improve mental well-being through therapeutic sessions, skills training, and community-building activities, allowing participants to strengthen social connections and enhance their quality of life.
This program has demonstrated measurable improvements in mental health and social integration, with a strong emphasis on sustainable, long-term outcomes.
Our dedicated team consists of mental health professionals, facilitators, and over 35 committed volunteers, enabling us to deliver personalised, high-quality support. Collaborating closely with other organisation, we tailor our services to meet the unique needs of our community, creating pathways for empowerment and active community involvement.
