Description: The Roman Catholic Diocese of Salford operates in 13 Local Authorities across the North West, providing education and charitable as well as spiritual support. We have churches, schools and communities supporting local people of all faiths and none. Nearly half of our parishes are within the 20% most deprived neighbourhoods in the country and many have crisis teams, run or support food banks, and provide vital support services. We also have 30+ listed churches, contributing to the heritage tourism economy.
