Description: The Inspired Taskforce CIO is a charity based in the heart of Levenshulme on the A6 (Stockport Road), our mission is to "Create a better world for older people..." starting in our own backyard in Levenshulme, Longsight and Gorton, by providing mental and physical wellbeing activities designed to improve physical and mental health. Activity such as Dance exercise classes, creative arts workshops, Luncheon clubs, Computer classes, Cooking workshops, Day tips away, Discussion groups, Chat and Play groups and so many more.
The Inspired Taskforce does rely on a small fee for sessional activities to cover running costs but also provide some free activity.
Inspired Taskforce Befriending service: The Inspired Taskforce have recently been awarded Manchester City Council Funding to take our experience to the Longsight and Ardwick Areas to provide an at home befriending and venue-based activity service amongst different local communities to support BAME groups and those suffering with racial inequalities. Services are tailored to those over the age of 50 looking at either having at home support if they are unable to leave their homes due to health and mobility issues or those who can leave their homes but do not know where to get support.

Cash donations: A cash donation can be made by visiting our base of operations at the Inspire Centre and talking to one of our staff members
Non-cash donations: Non cash donations can be made on our Crowdfunder page by searching on google for Inspired taskforce - We are currently in the process of setting up a donation button on our Website, Facebook and Instagram and should be available mid 2024
