Description: African Festival UK is a voluntary organisation headed by Pedro Da Silva Vicente, based in Manchester, trying to raise awareness, in particular amongst young people, towards the origins of Africa.
The aims of African Festival UK are:
To provide an annual event in Manchester to promote African culture through authentic music and dance.
To help Black Minority Ethnic and other communities to explore the origins of Africa, to have a better understanding of cultural diversity.
To encourage social and cultural interaction in order to promote racial harmony and community cohesion.
African Festival UK are available for: African theme nights Educational Programmes & Workshops Performances and Demonstrations.
