Description: Birch Community Centre works with the local community and voluntary and statutory organisations to improve education, recreation, and leisure activities in the vicinity.
Services delivered: BCA provides a venue for community events, recreation, classes and occassions. In addition children's services are provided including a daily playgroup and after school club, together with holiday short break respite care.

The Hall, with its impressive hammer-beam ceiling, is a brilliant canvas for setting any mood and light for your event. It is highly adaptable and can transform from cabaret style, formal dinners, in- the-round, dance floor style, acoustic and electric sound. An overhead projector and screen, sound, and light equipment,, bar and bar fridge are available for optional hire.

Hire the Community Room
The Community Room features a high ceiling and high arched windows. It can be accessed separately to the hall (via the back entrance). This is also an adaptable space for meetings, cabaret style events, non-seated events and it has a piano too! Sound, and audio equipment are available for hire.

Birch Community Centre is wheelchair accessible.
● Private hire rates are from £50 per hour (for The Hall) plus a £15 caretaker fee and from £25 per hour (for The Community Room).
● A refundable* deposit of £100 additional to the hire fee is required to secure your booking.
*Note: Unless the event over-runs (ends later than booking), there are no breakages or damage to the building or equipment, this will be refunded after your event.
