Description: We work in theatre, literature, short film and music, to form a bridge between Chinese and mainstream communities locally, nationally and internationally. Our partners have been Contact, Candella Films, GMMAZ, Manchester Camerata, Arts Initiative in Education Manchester, and the Manchester Chinese Centre.
Our workshops train writers, editors, translators, and workshop leaders. We find mainstream outlets for our material and for the new skills acquired by our workshop participants. Our activities aim to strengthen the Chinese community by raising their low profile, reducing their isolation, combating their low self-esteem, and increasing employment opportunities.
