Description: Community Development Initiative (CDI) is a not-for-profit organisation working to improve life chances of marginalised groups such as the unemployed, Black and Minority Ethnic groups and Asylum Seekers to promote inclusion and integration into mainstream life.
We work in partnership with the mainstream service providers and other voluntary and other community organisations to offer localised services tailored to the needs of our clients in order to promote access to mainstream education and other services.
We offer a range of activities for the whole family including advice and guidance on learning opportunities, first-step courses to increase skills and confidence, after-school learning and sports for young people, health eating workshops and networking with others in support of community cohesion.
