Description: GMYN’s vision is #YoungPeopleCan and we deliver a range of leadership and development programmes to help Young People (YP) aged 10 to 25 in Greater Manchester (GM) transition to adulthood feeling skilled, supported and positive.

Our key focus is supporting YP who face significant challenges, including those with experience of the care system (CEYP), Unaccompanied Asylum Seeker Children (UASC), YP with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), and social, emotional and mental health challenges (SEMH).

We deliver over 21 programmes that move YP from isolated positions to engage in positive enrichment activities, life skills workshops and social action and advocacy projects. These programmes support YP to meet new peers, improve wellbeing, develop essentials skills and have a say on issues that matter to themselves. Youth consultation and co-design are central to our work. We ensure our services are led by YP throughout to address areas that matter to them.

We also provide support to the sector by facilitating opportunities for partnerships, consultation, delivering training on youth work themes and capacity building.
