Description: <p>Over the last five years, Inspired Sisters has established a reputation for providing informal learning, social activities and practical advice and support to members of the local community in a culturally-sensitive, friendly environment. Based at the heart of Longsight, in one of Manchesterís poorest but most culturally diverse local communities, our aim is to reduce social exclusion and overcome isolation. The activities we provide build peopleís confidence so that they become more independent and have more say and control over issues affecting their daily lives. We are an independent community organisation, based on self-help principles, which means that our vision is to give local people the space, the skills and the opportunity to improve their own lives, that of their families and of the community as a whole.</p>
