Unity formed in '94 to celebrate the rich diversity in our community and to promote equality using creative methods and informed by youth work and community development principles of practice.
Unity provides opportunities to be involved in community festivals, themed projects and events, bringing people together to celebrate & enjoy our rich heritage. Unity staff, from a range of professional backgrounds work across ages & communities (mobile) on tailor made projects to suit needs. In M20 and M21 we engage in Youth Work and Youth & Community Arts in parks and on the streets. We have a weekly children/youth circus and creative holiday projects. We actively engage in community initiatives supporting local organisations.
