Friends of Whitworth Park aims to promote the revival of the Park as a place of quiet resort for the benefit and the use of the public, especially children, in the spirit of the founders.
We believe its position at the point where the city, the hospitals, the university and the vibrant local communities meet gives opportunities for the development of a special place relevant to contemporary life in a multicultural city.
