422 Community Hub is a compassion project of Manchester Vineyard, a local church and charity. 422's journey began in 2020 when, following community consultation, staff and volunteers from Manchester Vineyard transformed the dilapidated former Longsight Youth Centre into a thriving community asset.
422 now offers a community cafe, spaces available to hire, as well as a number of projects that seek to alleviate the causes and symptoms of deprivation, restore hope and reduce social isolation in the richly diverse areas of Longsight and Ardwick in South Manchester, two of the most economically deprived wards in the North of England.
Projects we currently run include a pre-school Stay & Play group, English Language Cafe, Community Pantry, advice service and much more!
