Description: We are a group of community volunteers who work with the Mersey Valley Warden Service to improve the Chorlton Ees and Ivy Green Nature Reserve for both people and wildlife. We are all keenly interested in environmental issues and biodiversity and have a wider interest in green spaces in the Mersey Valley and South Manchester generally.
The group is free to join and is open to all interested members of the community.
In the last few years we have built up links with many other local environmental and community groups.
If you would like to know more about us you might like to look at our blog at http://friendsofchorltonmeadows.blogspot.com/. In addition, as a result of the generosity of Manchester City Council, we also have a digital projector and would be happy to give illustrated presentations on various aspects of Mersey Valley wildlife (please contact Dave Bishop).
