Services delivered: INTEGRATION HUBS: PROVIDING ENGLISH LANGUAGE AND BRITISH LIFE - IN THE UK SESSIONS; EMPLOYABILITY SUPPORT, IT AND JOB CLUB, WELLBEING ACTIVITIES SUCH FOOTBALL SESSIONS AND WALKING CLUBS. VOLUNTEERING OPPORTUNITIES AND INFORMATION AND ADVICE DROP IN.
THE CHARITY ALSO RUN A MEDIA PROJECT CALLED MIGRANT ECHOES AIMED TO ENCOURAGE PEOPLE FROM MIGRANT BACKGROUND TO SHARE THEIR EXPERIENCES.

Opportunity title Summary
English Teacher Volunteer MSM is recruiting volunteers to help to run the next Language Employability and Integration Hub LEIH which is a fast track support to people whose first language is not English and they live in the Greater Manchester. The service consists in a combination of English language, English Culture immersion and Employability sessions run by volunteers. Ideally we are looking for volunteers who already hold CELTA, TESOL or any other English teaching accreditation and want to gain more experience. Classes are divided into basic and intermediate level; volunteers are welcome to join to any of those levels. The number of learners can vary from small groups (5 to 10) to large groups (10 to 25)
LASNET Volunteer We are looking for volunteers who would like to get involved with our Latin Support Network and aims to support people from any Spanish and Portuguese backgrounds including people from Latin America who live in the North West to stay connected and help each other by running activities and providing practical support in Spanish and Portuguese.
