Description: George House Trust provides services to people living with HIV, which enable them to feel empowered and better able to live healthily with HIV. We raise awareness of HIV and encourage all sexually active people in the North West to know their HIV status. We challenge HIV stigma and discrimination and promote a better understanding of HIV.

Worlds Aids Day Volunteer To support George House Trust’s event organisation for World AIDS Day and to support with tasks related to our Positive Speakers’ Programme, in the lead up to World AIDS Day
Volunteer Driver To provide transport for people living with HIV who are unable to travel to and from appointments.
Awareness Raising and Events Volunteer To help raise awareness about HIV and challenge HIV related stigma
Community Fundraising Volunteer To support the work of George House Trust through helping with essential community fundraising and event support. Community fundraising is a vital contributor to George House Trust’s Welfare Fund, which supports HIV positive people who are in financial hardship, through grants. Fundraising events also play a huge role in challenging HIV stigma and raising awareness of HIV and the work of George House Trust.
Food for Life- Kitchen Assistant Helping as a Kitchen Assistant on our Food for Life five week nutrition and cookery course for people living with HIV.
Peer Mentor To provide peer mentoring to people living with HIV to help people live well with HIV, build confidence and reduce social isolation.
