There are around 290 parishes across Manchester diocese - some 500 church buildings and centres. Many of whom are offering facilities for neighbourhood use as well as developing social action projects in partnership with others in their local areas.
These activities include employing community development workers, jointly funded by housing associations; providing drop in facilities for asylum seekers and homeless people people with mental health needs; youth and work with older people.
